A.R. Dykes Library is located in Kansas City, Kansas, on the north side of 39th Avenue between Rainbow Boulevard and State Line Road. Here's a campus map to show you the location of Dykes Library in relation to the rest of the University of Kansas Medical Center campus.
To reach the library from the Southwest: Take I-35 North to Rainbow Boulevard heading South. Follow Rainbow Blvd. to 39th Ave. Turn left onto 39th Ave. When underneath the pedestrian overpass, turn left into the drive next to the library.
To reach the library from the North and West: Take I-70 East. Exit at 7th Street Trafficway. Head South, past Southwest Boulevard, and up the hill to the intersection of Rainbow and 39th. Turn left onto 39th Ave. When underneath the pedestrian overpass, turn left into the drive next to the library.
To reach the library from the North and East: Take I-35 South to 7th Street Trafficway. Turn left at the bottom of the exit onto 7th Street. Head South, past Southwest Boulevard, and up the hill to the intersection of Rainbow and 39th. Turn left onto 39th Ave. When underneath the pedestrian overpass, turn left into the drive next to the library.
To reach the library from the East: Take 39th Street west. Three blocks west of State Line Road, turn left into the drive next to the library.
