Distribution of Materials to Students

Digital materials:

• All digital materials will be distributed through the Ares Course Reserves system in Angel.
• Faculty and/or course coordinators and Teaching and Learning Technology staff will be notified that permissions are complete and materials have been posted to the secure server.

Printed materials:

• Faculty and/or course coordinators will be notified that permissions are complete. Materials will be returned to faculty or staff.

The Course Reserves staff needs 6-8 weeks to complete the copyright permission process and post on the secure web server. If permission seeking is not needed, this process can be completed within 3 weeks. If you're on a tight deadline, we'll work with you, but we do need time to accommodate all our patrons.

The University will absorb the cost of the copyright permissions and associated transaction fees up to $1000 per course.
