Each entry includes sections on actions, indications, contraindications, warnings and

administration and dosage. This work also includes a color locator to "aid in
identifying tablets and capsules by their appearance." Standard abbreviations, a
trademark glossary, and a manufacturers/distributors index are included in the appendices.

Physicians' Desk Reference (PDR)
The PDR is published annually by Medical Economics "in cooperation with
participating manufacturers...Each product description has been prepared by the
manufacturer, and edited and approved by the manufacturer's medical department, medical
director, and/or medical consultant."

Dietary Supplement Information includes the "manufacturers' descriptions of a variety

Intended specifically for clinical use by the practicing nurse or student. Provides

functional and chemical classifications, controlled-substance schedule, action, uses,
