Welcome to the Archie R. Dykes Library's Online Medical Reference System (OMRS). This system is designed to help you find and use the library's books and electronic resources to answer questions when a reference librarian is not available. If you are unable to find an answer to your question, please contact the Library by phone (913-588-7166), in person or via email (dykesref@kumc.edu). On-campus users may submit reference questions and/or literature search requests by filling out an electronic form.

To navigate through the OMRS website select an appropriate category from the Table of Contents links located at the left of this screen. You can use these links to navigate through the site or use the "Back" button on your web browser to return to the previous screen.

OMRS will link you to different sites in the library, on the University of Kansas Medical Center (KUMC) campus, and on the World Wide Web.

You may also search OMRS by keyword. The OMRS search uses the Google search appliance. Search tips are available to help optimize your search efforts.
