Index to Scientific and Technical Proceedings

This is an index to published proceedings from throughout the world from a range of scientific disciplines. These proceedings may have appeared as books, reports, sets of reprints, and as part of the journal literature. Dykes Library no longer subscribes to this index. Our holdings are from 1978 to 1988.

Searching the Catalog for Meeting Proceedings

To find the proceedings of a meeting in the catalog, do a Keyword search on one to three identifying words from the title of the meeting. Include the word "proceedings" in your search. Try to choose the less common words from the title of the proceedings. For instance to find the proceedings of "The 7th International Conference on the Adjuvant Therapy of Cancer" type the following in a Keyword search:

adjuvant cancer proceedings

Some proceedings will be published as books and others as individual volumes of journals. If the proceedings is in a journal the location will say "Shelved by Series Title". Click on the Full Record button to identify the series title.   Check the series in the catalog record to find the journal title and volume number.
