Eligible Proxy Server Users


Based on licensing and other restrictions, the following individuals are eligible for remote access via the proxy server:

  • KUMC Faculty
  • KUMC Residents
  • KUMC Fellows
  • KUMC Students
  • KUMC Employees
  • Hospital Employees
  • KUPI Employees
  • Visiting Students (With letter from departments – have ending date for access)
  • Visiting Scholars (With letter from departments – have ending date for access)
  • Emeritus KUMC Faculty
  • Adjunct / Volunteer Faculty (With proof of appointment)

KUMC GroupWise IDs or Novell accounts are used for accessing the proxy server. If you are an eligible user but do not have a GroupWise ID, you will need to contact the Help Desk at (913) 588-7995 to register for an account.
