Eligible Proxy Server Users


Based on licensing and other restrictions, the following individuals< are eligible for remote access via the proxy server:

  • KUMC FACULTY
  • KUMC RESIDENTS
  • KUMC FELLOWS
  • KUMC STUDENTS
  • KUMC EMPLOYEES
  • HOSPITAL EMPLOYEES
  • KUPI EMPLOYEES
  • VISITING STUDENTS (With letter from departments – have ending date for access)
  • VISITING SCHOLARS (With letter from departments – have ending date for access)
  • EMERITUS KUMC FACULTY
  • ADJUNCT / VOLUNTEER FACULTY (With proof of appointment)

KUMC GroupWise IDs or Novell accounts are used for accessing the proxy server. If you are an eligible user but do not have a GroupWise ID, you will need to contact the Help Desk at (913) 588-7995 to register for an account.
